Time change again
The local mall by me is going through a lot of construction and remodeling and because of that, the parking lot is bad. No where to park and also the aisles are pretty narrow as well. And then I realized, this must be affecting the places around with their business. I was planning on getting a meal at BJ’s Brewery but half their parking is gone, they set up valet and the rest was just full. So… I left and decided I can find other places to eat and I did. But I am sure I’m not the only one who thought this and this has to be affecting their overall business. But even when the construction is done, the impact will still be there as the spaces will not be a building so they will still likely suffer a lot from that.
Weekly Update:
Saturday to Sunday was DST, Daylight Saving Time where it ends and we fall back an hour thus gaining back an hour of time from when we jumped ahead in the Spring. There is still a lot of controversary of why this exist in most of the US (and the world) but many want to get rid of it. Personally I don't see what the big deal is and maybe also, I'm just used to it. Though I will always complain about the leap ahead and losing that hour, I certainly do not mind the extra hour of sleep or whatever we are doing in the Fall so to me, that makes up for it. Almost like when you fly say East and you lose the time by going that direction but when you come home going West, you get it back. But for now, it's still the norm for most of the US and several other parts of the world.
At the movies:
Climbing up the ranks to #1 is You Can See Everything with an extra 10.6 million as it did drop 43% but small number in comparison to the rest. Slight drop to #2 is Clayface with 10.4 mil and also a low 57% difference from last week. Holding at #3 is Wildwood with 7.5 mil more as we change holiday seasons. Slight climb to #4 is Wicker with 4.1 mil but this one won't go much further in terms of box office but award season is upon us now. Drop down to #5 is Street Fighter with 3.2 mil and hitting that 63% zone which has become common for box office gross drops.
