It seems that sticking to the default font size and style is working ok. It still does look a little odd from Internet Explorer but better than before. Clearly this program was meant to be used with Firefox which is fine. I will try and keep the font size as is but slightly change the font style. Hopefully it won't make things go crazy again and heck, it may not even be noticeable anyway.

Weekly Recap:
Most of this past week I spent just trying to stay cool. Its been close or just barely over 100 each day and mid week we were suppose to get some rain and t-storms but they moved right past us, But the heat didn't! The super hot days I wish I was home to just sit and float in the pool ... they are building or putting in a gym at work, I wonder if it will include a pool? Not that I would use it but its nice to know they have that kind of thing for the employees and even guests.

At the movies:
For the third straight week, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" holds on to the #1 spot discovering another 35 million bringing its grand booty to 322 mil!! This now ranks it #16 in the top lifetime highest grossing films AND its only week 3! Probably by the end of this week (Thurs, 7/27) it will over take the #15 and #14 films being "The Lion King" and "Forrest Gump" respectively. No doubt this will be Disney's highest grossing film ever since its within arm's length of "Finding Nemo" which is in the #13 spot for highest lifetime. Debuting in the #2 lot is Sony's summer animated attempt of Monster House scarying up 23 mil. Surfacing in the #3 spot is M. Night Shyamalan's Lady in the Water with a tall tale of 18.2 mil. Word of mouth may not have been too good because its Friday to Saturday numbers were very flat. Rounding off the top 5 are "You, Me and Dupree" with another 12.8 mil and taking a short BIG fall is "Little Man" with 11 mil. Other movies that opened not making the top 5 is the long-awaited Clerks II offering up only 9.6 mil which puts it at #6. One of the banners for this film was MGM, another sad 2006 opening for the re-launching of the lion. Flying in at #7, Fox's My Super Ex-Girlfriend with a summer low of 8.7 mil.

Q & A:
None at this time (some questions may be already addressed in the comment section).

Other News:
The Israeli main battle tank (Merkava MK III) is probably the best out there today. Maybe only second to the US M-1 Abrams. The founding idea of this tank is to protect the crew first and utmost. It is a well tested and proven vehicle in battle and in the photo we see a convey rolling as the conflict with Lebanon continues. A war between these two forces ... between the Merkava and the Israeli airforce, my money is on Israel for this one. Another issue in that region that is going on is evacuation. The US is SO slow to get people out of there (US citizens that is) while other nations like France and Germany are doing everything they can to get their citizens out FAST! What was the hold up?!? People want to get out but the US embassy was telling them to stay put and they will get to them soon ... I just want to know what did soon equal to? Soon = 3 to 5 days I guess. Folks started getting out on Friday but this is days after the warnings and conflicts started.

Facts & Tips:
A one-day weather forecast requires about 10 billion mathematical calculations.

"Oh, don't be offended or anything. Movies are entertaining enough for the masses but the personalities on the screen just don't impress me. They don't talk, they don't act. Just a lot of dumb show, you know"- Debbie Reynolds as Kathy Selden in "Singin' in the Rain"

"Singing in the Rain:" One of my fantasy movies! After watching it on TV as a kid, I dreamed that I was Debbie Reynolds dancing with my two best friends who were boys--straight out of the "Good Morning" sequence in the film.

The photo clip you picked--isn't that the part where Kathy flees the stage and then turns around when Gene K.'s character says, "Stop that girls running down the aisle! She's the real star of the show! That's the voice you knew and loved tonight!" Or something to that effect. And she turns arouns knowing that he loves her. That part always chokes me up.
