Weekly Update:
Helped out at the 19th Annual Gary Umetsu Charity Golf Tournament in support of Variety's Children Charity. Again it was in my backyard at Coyote Hills Golf Course so super easy to attend and help out for me! It was a really great day for golf and not hot or cold, just right! a lot of money was raised for the charity and lot of fun prizes won by a bunch of people. I haven't been helping this event since the beginning but it has been at least 5 or 6 years that I can think of, maybe more but not 100% sure. Looking forward to next year and the 20th Annual! Hope we can make it a blow-out year.
At the movies:Nice pre- holiday box office starts up with a great opening for Frozen 2 taking the crown at 127 million to open! Close to expectations but some mixed reviews with a darker theme to this sequel. Unsure if this film will come close to the original at this point and the holiday week will give us a better picture. Drop down to #2 is "Ford v. Ferrari" with another 16 mil as this will fall short of 100 mil cume domestic. New at #3 is A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood with 13.5 mil to open and way below all expectations. Great reactions to the film, just no audiences. New at #4 is 21 Bridges with 9.3 mil, so close to expectations and this one will be gone in a blink. Rounding off the top 5 is "Midway" with another 4.7 mil and the war has ended on this film.
