Rain?!  Fooled ya!!!  So we were suppose to have rain on Friday and the clouds did roll in but it barely drizzled for about 5 minutes and it was done.  I mean it was supposed to be some solid rain but I guess that is what we get for this area.  We need it so badly its not even funny and on top of that we had a couple of days that hit 80 this pas week too.  Can we get a bunch of those machines that make fake rain and hook it up to the ocean?  I know it will be salty but so what?!  Oh right, could be bad for plants ... dang it!  And I wouldn't want to waste what little fresh water we have.  Well, can we re-visit the environment then and see how we can reverse some of the damage we are causing?  No?!  Man, we are screwed.

Weekly Update:
I can't even remember what happened this week ... been doing a lot of over time but no biggie with that.  Just work work work.  Its kind of interesting having OT when you work at home opposed to going into an office.  When at home its much more casual, not because you don't have to get dressed really and stay in your PJ's but just wake up, walk to the computer and then start the day.  Instead of having to wake up early, get to the office, set-up, etc ... just a longer process you spend in preparation and even sort of ending the day.  So doing OT at home not as big of a deal.

At the movies:
The jungle is still riding in at #1 for its 5th week in release!  "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" earns another 20 million and now over 300 mil domestic cume.  Word-of-mouth is still good on this film and should continue to do well in this award season lull.  New at #2 is 12 Strong with 16.5 mil and about at expectations.  Also new at #3 is Den of Thieves with 15.3 mil and above predictions.  Holding on to #4 is "The Post" with 12.2 mil and will do these kind of numbers for a bit longer but unlikely to reach 100 mil cume. Holding to the #5 spot is "The Greatest Showman" with 11 mil and it now passes 100 mil cume!

New movies that did not make the top 5:
Just one film this week with a semi-wide release.  In at #10 with around 1000+ runs is Forever My Girl earning only 4.7 mil.  More than to be expected for this film so that is something.
