So despite one day being crazy hot, over 100 degrees, the rest of the week was really nice!!  Of course the one day it is over 100 I go out to Disneyland to hang out with some friends but only could last half a day.  It was just so bad in the direct sun and when I got home I needed another shower and then fell asleep resting when I was suppose to be doing a bunch of errands.  What is going on , we are in the Fall season I thought, it should be in the 80's at most, close to 90 but that should be it!  But I finally got to see some of the Halloween stuff at Disney's California Adventure in person and it was pretty cool.  I am thinking at night it is better but oh well, I did have to go and was just to exhausted.

Weekly Update:
So some recovery work has been going on in the house and it just started.  All from some water damage from an upstairs toilet.  The areas that were damaged are the upstairs bedroom which has its own bathroom.  Then it seeped down to the downstairs restroom, closet, laundry room and part of the garage.  It has taken over 2 months to get the work started, some disconnect between the insurance and who to have do the work.  But once that got all cleared up, the worked started immediately.  So trying to stay home as much as I can while the work goes on ... water ... its both a blessing and a curse.

At the movies:

A fairly quiet time at the box office right now as we see a new #1.  Taking the crown for a week is Happy Death Day with 26.5 million, above expectations and proper time of year for a movie like this.  Drop down to #2 is "Blade Runner 2049" with an extra 15.1 mil as it struggles to get to 100 mil cume but unlikely to reach it.  New at #3 is The Foreigner with a modest 12.8 mil to open, below expectations a tad.  Dropping down to #4 is "It" with 6 mil as it cruises into the 300 mil range but likely to tap out soon.  Rounding off the top 5 is "The Mountain Between Us" with 5.7 mil more and just about done on this one as well.

New movies that did not make the top 5:
Just one this week as Marshall comes in at #11 earning only 3 mil.  Low opening but also not surprising and to be expected.
