GOLDEN GLOBES EDITION

Sunday was the 74th Annual Golden Globes celebrating the best in Film, TV and the music that accompany them.  This is my favorite award show of the season and the first one to kick them off.  I like it the most because encompasses more than just film or actors or TV but all of it.  Not to mention all the parties with the different studios are all in the same area so its easy and handy to get around and make the multiple stops.  But it is a great show and never really disappoints as others have.

Weekly Update:
While at the Golden Globes I managed to get a few pictures, not as many as I usually get but still something and I think all good ones:

*Reggie Lee - from "Tropic Thunder" and an awesome guy!
*Jimmy Yang - from the TV show "Silicon Valley" and a very cool guy!
*Mykelti Williamson - best known as Bubba from "Forrest Gump" and a nice guy.
*Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa- currently in "The Man in the High Castle" and an outstanding guy!
*Jason Schwartzman - from "The Darjeeling Limited" and a super nice guy!
*Liam Cunningham - from "Game of Thrones" and a very patient and nice guy!
*Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - from "Game of Thrones" and a very mellow guy.
*Diego Luna - from the recent "Rogue One" and a nice guy.
*Eddie Redmayne - award winner and all around super cool guy!

At the movies:
Another week of no surprises as "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" continues at #1 with another 22 million and past 450 mil cume.  On its way to break half a billion domestic.  Expanding and new at #2 being wide is "Hidden Figures" with 21.8 mil.  Higher than anticipated and should do pretty well over all. Down to #3 is "Sing" with 19.6 mil extra and just past 200 mil cume for this late animated holiday film.  New at #4 is Underworld: Blood Wars with 13.1 mil and right on expectations.  Rounding off the top 5 is "La La Land" rising up the ranks and making 10 mil.  With all the Globe wins last night, it is sure to get a boost in the next couple of weeks.
