So what is new ... well it was just a matter of time that the blog/Google system would come up with some other issues. Loading photos ... or the ability not to be able to. Supposedly Mozilla FireFox is the web browser of choice for this blog system however currently when you try to load pictures up, it loads them put then you are stuck as you have to hit "done" to make it final/approved. If you just close the box then nothing happens and with the button missing, it sucks. Back to Explorer for pictures (which works GREAT by the way). What is next?

Weekly Update:
It was a nice short week last week as Labor Day was a non-work day and I took the Tuesday off as well but still worked from home. Traffic, as predicted, was terrible and probably will remain so till mid-October. But this year, my drive to work didn't suffer too much as in the past years. So that was great, instead of the extra 30 to 45 mins, I think I only took an extra 10 min hit to the commute. But all-in-all, it was a good week.

At the movies:

The summer is way over at the box office as the numbers this past weekend reflect that. New at the #1 spot this week is Bangkok Dangerous with only 7.8 million to lead off. Holding in at #2 is "Tropic Thunder" with another 7.5 mil and just shy of the 100 mil cume mark. Down to #3 is "House Bunny" with 5.9 mil more. In at #4 is "The Dark Knight" with 5.7 mil more and a cume of 512 mil! With that 512 (and still slowly growing), this puts "The Dark Knight" in the #2 spot for All Time Highest US Box Office right behind "Titanic" (600 mil) and past "Star Wars: A New Hope" (461 mil- adjusted from 1977). Rounding off the top 5 is "Traitor" with an additional 4.7 mil.

Quote of the week:
"Our government should work for us, not against us. It should help us, not hurt us. It should ensure opportunity not just for those with the most money and influence, but for every American who's willing to work." - Barak Obama

Other News:
You may not know the name, but you sure do you know the voice. Movie-trailer voice-over king Don LaFontaine died on Monday due to complications from pneumothorax, a collapsed lung that causes air to build in the pleural cavity. His golden voice gave us suspense, thrills, chills, excitement and even laughter before the actual movies even came out on the big screen through the many movie previews. The film titles his voice has been attached to is in the thousands including such films as; "The Godfather," "The Simpsons," and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" to name a few. He will leave a big empty void as the voices go silent, he was the master of this craft ...
LaFontaine was 68.

Facts & Tips:

The U.S. is the largest country names after an actual person (Amerigo Vespucci).

"How did a little perv like you, turn into such a great guy?"- Alyson Hannigan as Michelle Flaherty in "American Wedding."
