4th of July Edition

Even though its only July 2nd, it is closer to the 4th than it would be for next week's blog.  So here is the July 4th Edition and so far it hasn't been very good at all.  Fireworks started going off Saturday and Sunday near by and scaring Orion to a shiver.  I tried to turn up the volume on the TV and get the thunder shirt on him but he was still so scared and wouldn't stop shaking for hours.  I know he would eventually be fine but thinking of other dogs who may be outside or loose with access to outside freaking out and trying to run from it all.  I hope people remember to secure them indoors and keep the windows shut to at least try and muffle some of the noise out.  Fireworks are fun for some but not for everyone.

Weekly Update:
DUCKS!  They came back with more babies, this time 10 of them, 11 including the mom.  They stayed in the pool all day but toward the night you can see them getting tired but unable to get out of the pool.  Was able to finally get them out but then they went through the bars of the fence into the golf course and I just hope the coyotes don't find them because that mom is no match for a coyote let alone several of them.  These babies were pretty much a day old unlink the last ones which seemed maybe 2 or 3 days old.  Well, they never came back so I hope they are safe and off on their own.

At the movies:
No upsets this weekend as "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" continues its reign at #1 with another 60 million in week 2.  Size-able drop though but still on track to potentially reach 400 mil cume.  Also holding ground at #2 is "The Incredibles 2" with 45.6 mil and now past 400 mil, rolling on to 450 which it may have that by the end of this week.  New at #3 is Sicario: Day of the Soldado with 19 mil to open and right on expectations.  New at #4 is Uncle Drew with 15.5 mil and also spot on as well this week.  Rounding off the top 5 is "Ocean's 8" with 8 mil as it passes the 100 mil mark.
