It got hot again!?  What in the world just happened?  We were having such awesome Winter weather and then we go back to being Summer again at least during the day.  It was in the mid 80's again and the nights were very chilly at around 60 but still, this sucks.  No rain but some clouds and I see the mountains off in the distance received some snow.  That is good but we need some of that downfall over here too.  But the big thing, why is not cold during the day?  I am back to shorts and short sleeve shorts ... OK, I may not have changed but I would normally wear a jacket but it was too hot for that!  I hope it does change soon ... very very soon.

Weekly Update:
I wonder how certain people survive in this world.  I see so many people wondering around, not even paying attention to their surroundings.  Not that there is anything to see but just to be aware.  It is a true thing that texting while doing anything else like walking near traffic or driving is so dangerous.  The biggest area you see things like this is in mall parking lots or busy store parking lots.  They walk in the middle of the aisle of the road, cars are coming at them and behind them.  Just plain dumb and they can easily get hit if the driver is not paying attention and they could be looking behind them or to the sides.  Someone walking has better control of this and it just amazes me.

At the movies:
Still holding on to the #1 spot for the 3rd week in a row is "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2" with another 18.6 million and a cume just over 225 mil domestic box office.  Unlikely it will reach 300 but should pass 250 with no problems.  At #2 is Krampus with 16 mil and right about expectations.  General pre-opening had it much lower but had it in the teens and that is what it did.  Drop to #3 is "Creed" with an extra 15.5 mil and could have some legs to reach past 100 mil.  Bigger drop to #4 is "The Good Dinosaur" with another 15.5 mil and will probably go extinct in the next week or two from the top 5.  Rounding off the top 5 is "Spectre" with 5.4 mil more as it crawls its way to a potential 200 mil cume.

New movies that did not make the top 5:
Just one this week as The Letters with just under 1,000 screens comes in at #15 and earning just shy of 1 mil.  This is more of an award type of film with a very limited appeal.  This will fade pretty fast though with the per screen average being tremendously low.
