PRESIDENT'S DAY SPECIAL - LATE EDITION

Happy President's Day! This particular Monday we observe the birthdays of both George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. To most its just another day off from work and school which is always nice to break things up. But they are both great men in American history that we should take note. Washington, of course, was our 1st US President and lead us through the American Revolution. Good ol Abe Lincoln was our 16th President and brought us through the American Civil War. Want to learn more about them ... LOOK THEM UP!!! I do suggest searching using Yahoo though because, as I always say, Google sucks.

Weekly Update:
I attended the semi- annual "Geek Fest" on Saturday (actually it's a collector's show) and got some snaps with some pretty cool folks:

*Ernest Borgnine- What a sweet sweet man and looked pretty chipper for his age.
*Richard Hatch- From the classic Battlestar Galatica TV show and a VERY cool guy!
*George Kennedy- From great movies to TV shows and all around nice guy.
*Larry Storch- From one of my favorite classic TV shows, F-Troop and a terrific guy.
*Dick Van Patten- A very love-able and friendly guy.
*Don Marshall- Character actor and all around nice guy.

At the movies:
Action at the box office with the "actor" Hayden Christensen in Jumper takes the holiday crown with 31.7 million for a 4-day total. I say "actor" because, well he basically sucks. In at #2 is The Spiderwick Chronicles with a 4-day total of 24.5 mil. Dance Dance ... the dancing takes the #3 spot this weekend as Step Up 2 the Streets earns 21.5 mil. Wow, a myspace homepage film not make the #1 spot!? Who would have thought!! (Sarcasm in case you couldn't tell). Holding some ground at #4 is "Fool's Gold" with an extra 15 mil this weekend. Rounding off the top 5 is Definitely, Maybe with 11.4 mil.

Comment Response:
None at this time.

Other News:
UNO! The winner of The 132nd Westminister Dog Show is a little beagle named Uno. This was the first time a beagle breed has ever won this annual and prestiges canine event. Of course when everyone hears the word beagle, they all refer to the most famous of them all being Snoopy created by Charles Shultz. Many comments were thrown around saying, "Snoopy would be proud." Would he though? Would Snoopy even care about this or would rather be flying his dog-house-sopwith-camel against his arch-enemy the Red Baron? My money is on the Baron. But regardless, congrats Uno!
