Getting cooler?  It sure has been and I hope it continues but when I look and think back, our Summer was relatively short in terms of hot weather.  It honestly didn't start getting hot here till maybe mid-August (with an occasional day here and there) and as we approach end of September, it's cooling back down!  And the nights are getting brisk or chilly again.  The nights were already cool but lacking any breeze so it felt warmer than it was with stagnate air.  Man, breezes sure make a HUGE difference in how it feels vs what it actually is.  It really is amazing but you don't want wind necessarily because that is just too much.  We also had some rain this past week so the layer of dust/dirt is gone but it wasn't enough to fill up any of our reservoirs or water reserves.  I am not sure what is predicted for this upcoming raining season but I just hope it gets cold because that does help our drought out!

Weekly Update:

I found the secret stash!  At work I found a stash of snacks but they belong to another department however, they said to take whatever I want!  So, I have been and they are pretty small snack size type things but still hit the spot in the afternoon when I'm trying to stay away in the office.  I'm also not one to just take, so lately I've been adding to the snack stash with additional snacks from Costco.  I have noticed though everyone tends to get sweet and I have been trying to go more savory.  I found mixed nuts but they did have M&M's but mostly nuts.  Also found some various roasted nuts and those are good.  And recently I found peanut butter cracker sandwiches but also ones filled with cheese but flavored by Cheetos and I think Doritos and they have both been pretty tasty.  Chips are hard because the small bags you get do take up a lot of space and you need something you can open and eat in one sitting so the family size bag of chips won't do.

At the movies:

Holding at the #1 spot for a 2nd week is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity with another 17.3 million as it passes the 100 mil mark.  It did have a substantial drop though (76%) so this may have run its course already.  New at #2 is Him with 13.5 mil and below expectations.  Slight drop to #3 is The Conjuring: Last Rites with 13 mil and a low drop so that is good and should continue to do well. Holding at #4 is The Long Walk with 6.3 mil and will soon end its walk.  Rounding off the top 5 is Downtown Abbey: The Grand Finale with another 6.3 mil and may be the last we see of it.

New movies that did not make the top 5:
A few this week starting at #6 with A Big Bold Beautiful Journey earning 3.5 mil on a wide release pattern, not a very good per screen average.  In at #7 is The Senior with only 2.8 mil and also wide-release and low per screen.  At #9 is Sight & Sound Presents: Noah - Live! which is by Fathom Events and earned 1.4 mil but less than 1,000 screens and also not a full set of show times either.
