Cloudy with a tease of rain! That was the forecast last week if you stepped outside around here. The clouds rolled in but nothing fell. The temperatures dropped and still the weather was playing with me. Oh sure the sun came out a couple of times to say, "Hi, how are ya?" But the weather otherwise was just messing with me. Where are the "April Showers?"

Weekly Update:
This past week for the most part was quiet which is very nice these days. It seems like when it gets hectic now, there is actual stress involved. I never use to stress out or get stressed out but lately when you get hit with stupidity after stupidity, it's kind of unavoidable. This coming week should also be a quiet week as well since I will be out of town in the San Francisco area. The weather is projected to be cold during the day and super cold at night. I better not forget my jacket like I did on the last trip but it worked out ok because I never went outside during the last trip.

At the movies:
The gambling at the box office continues to pay off as "21" wins the jackpot for the 2nd weekend in a row with an extra 15.1 million. Scoring just short at #2 is Leatherheads with 13.5 mil to open. In at #3 is the family adventure Nim's Island with 13.3 mil. Sounding in at #4 is "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who" with another 9.1 mil and now over 130 mil cume. Rounding off the top 5 is The Ruins with only 7.8 mil.

Film legend Charlton Heston has died at the age of 84. Heston passed away in his home in Beverly Hills on Saturday night with his wife at his side. Heston known for so many movies (to name just a few): Moses in "The Ten Commandments," General Andrew Jacksons in "The Buccaneer," Judah Ben-Hur in "Ben-Hur" which also landed him the Oscar win, El Cid in "El Cid," Marc Antony in "Antony and Cleopatra," and Cardinal Richelieu in "The Three Musketeers" and "The Four Musketeers." He also stared in classics such as the original "Planet of the Apes," "Earthquake," "Soylent Green," and "Midway." Heston sure has played many of history's iconic figures throughout his career that have effected the world ... now who will play Heston ...
