MY EYE!!!
I can't see! Wow what a week I had and it was all downhill from there. I'm not sure what I did on Thursday morning but I was rubbing my eyes and then after my right eye had all these crazy lines showing and it was kind of hazy. I didn't feel anything in it and when I looked in the mirror, I didn't see anything. As the day went, it was getting a bit worse and by the evening it was completely blurry looking out at most angles and directly straight. The next morning it was slightly better and I was able to get an appointment with an ophthalmologist quickly. Turned out a blood vessel in my eye burst and that is what I was seeing, the blood withing my eye. Good news is it should heal gradually over time but eventually I will need to get some lasik surgery, but not the kind that corrects your vision. I need to get the extra blood vessels more-or-less burnt off so they don't potentially burst. Eyes... what a crazy thing they are.
Weekly Update:
We went from downpouring rain to a complete dry up of just nothing! In fact, the temperature coming up is expected to hit the 80's and it's Winter? This doesn't make any sense but the nice thing is the mountains got some serious snow when it did rain and from what I could tell, they still have the snow so hopefully it doesn't melt off too fast and too soon. We need that water and we aren't expecting any more any time soon. The last bunch of rain did greatly help us but as usual, not enough for long-term. I hope more rain will come later, much more rain. But the mountains (Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear) look really nice covered. I hope the folks who live up there are enjoying the Winter Wonderland.
At the movies:
Continuing to lead the pack is Avatar: Fire and Ash with another 21.3 million as it's almost 350 mil in and still on a possible track to hit 400 mil domestic. New at #2 is Primate with 11.3 mil and kind of feels like a throw-away film as we are now full blown into Award Season. Holding on to #3 is The Housemaid with an extra 11.2 mil as it is now inches away from 100 mil and should get that by end of day tomorrow. Slight drop down to #4 is Zootopia 2 with 10.1 mil more and on track to hit 400 mil. New at #5 is Greenland 2: Migration with 8.5 mil and who knew there was a Greenland #1!? But another filler movie as we start the award season.
