Stay cool

This past week has seen some exceptional weather.  It hasn't been hot, low to mid-70's for the day and dipping down into the 60's at night.  There were a couple of days it got breezy but nothing crazy and it was nice touch.  Now this is the Spring and Fall weather that is just right for this time of year, just need a shower or two to add some needed water.  We did have a few very cloudy days that I thought it was going to rain but it never did.  Also, our weather report also said no rain and I find for here that is usually 99% accurate despite how cloudy (and dark clouds at that) it got, no rain!  So, the weather reporting was spot on.  I will say if anything about SoCali weather, it is very consistent and very accurate when it comes to our weather forecast.  I've been to other places and it's so random and also the weather changes in minutes from bright and sunny to massive downpour of rain to bright and sunny again.  It's confusing to me but I guess only because I'm used to consistency.

Weekly Update:

This past weekend I got to dog sit again for MISO!  He's such a good dog and smaller than what I am used to but still a good boy.  He listens for the most part like Orion but the last time didn't like going in the crate when I had to go out for a short errand.  He will be visiting me again in a few weeks so will work on him getting used to the crate when I have to go out.  Usually when I go out, it's for a very short time too (at most 30 to 45 minutes).  But, we know dogs can't tell time except when they are hungry which is almost all the time.  But he doesn't whine or bark.  The last couple of nights the coyotes have been noisy but he remained calm and didn't bark, just  looked out into the darkness and listening to them make their ruckus.

At the movies:

Holding it's crown for a second weekend is The Devil Wears Prada 2 with another 43 million and now over the 100 mil mark which is on track to break 200 eventually.  New at #2 is Mortal Kombat II with 40 mil to open.  Not a great number but good enough and also did slightly less than it's predecessor which was released in theatres and online at the same time.  2nd weekend will be a big tell for this film. Slight drop to #3 is Michael  with 36.5 mil, a good low drop for this film as it gets closer to 300 mil. New at #4 is The Sheep Detectives with 15.9 mil and a pretty soft opening for a wide-release pattern. New and rounding off the top 5 is Billie Ellish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour with 7.5 mil, the title seems way too long to me.
